Prison Arts Program Annual Exhibition

 

Each year the Prison Arts Program organizes an Annual Show from artists in the eighteen facilities within Connecticut's correctional system.  The show, which features recent work, brings inmate art to the outside community and connects the arts community to our incarcerated artists.

 

Date: Open Reception, Thursday, May 1, 2008

Time: 5-7 p.m.

Location: Capital Community College

THE HON. JOHN P. MALONEY CPA GOLF TOURNAMENT

 

Thisannual event is held at the end of June at Keney Park in Hartford and attracts golfers from the judicial world, business and the non-profit sector. It is a fun and friend-raiser for CPA and is a full day of golf, capped with an awards banquet, auction and prize giveaways.

THE RESETTLEMENT TEA AND SILENT ART AUCTION


Also an annual fund and friend-raiser, the Tea and Art Auction is held at the Pond House in Elizabeth Park, Hartford. Donated items from Connecticut artists, ranging from art work to jewelry to clothing are bid on while guests enjoy exotic teas, a wide variety of appetizers and listen to special musical renditions.

 

This year the Tea and Art Auciton will take place on a Sunday in October
